The client needed to assess the condition of a 28" crude oil pipeline in a tank terminal built in the 1960s. The line measured 110 meters and had never been inspected due to space constraints, complex geometry, and the absence of pigging infrastructure. Conventional methods could not respond to the combination of large diameter, short pipeline length, tight bends, and in-service inspection requirements. Corrosion and historic construction damage made accurate data critical.
