Global QHSE Manager

Job Summary

Are you an experienced QHSE leader with a strong track record in driving safety, quality, and environmental performance in an international organization? Do you want to play a key role in shaping and standardizing QHSE strategy across global operations in the energy sector? At Intero Integrity, you will take on the role of Global QHSE Manager, leading the development and execution of QHSE and ESG initiatives worldwide.

In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving Intero’s global QHSE strategy. You will ensure consistent standards across all regions and drive a strong safety culture throughout the organization

Key Responsibilities

QHSE Leadership

  • Developing, implementing, and safeguarding QHSE strategy, policies, and improvement programs
  • Identifying and managing key QHSE and ESG risks, including structural improvement initiatives
  • Coaching and supporting employees at all levels to strengthen safety awareness and continuous

Improvement

  • Developing and leading the global QHSE team to ensure strong capabilities and consistent execution
  • Ensuring compliance with certifications and leading internal and external audits
  • Leading incident investigations and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Driving continuous improvement to stay ahead of industry standards and best practices
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through excellent QHSE performance

ESG

  • Ensuring compliance with ESG-related regulations and reporting requirements
  • Contributing actively to the ESG committee and supporting ESG strategy development
  • Overseeing environmental compliance and reporting across global operations

Collaboration

  • Working cross-functionally with leadership, operations, engineering, HR, finance, and sales
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive QHSE improvements and alignment

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring both vision and execution capability in an international context.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced QHSE professional with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in a global, technical environment.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Safety Engineering, Sustainability, Engineering)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in QHSE management, including ESG program development
  • Strong knowledge of regulations, industry standards, and best practices
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, and operational excellence methodologies
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority

Preferred: Experience in the energy or petrochemical industry.

What we offer?

  • Competitive salary ranging from €7,412.32 to €9,523.80 per month, plus holiday allowance and a performance-based bonus (approximately one month’s salary)
