Marketing & Communication Specialist

To maintain our global marketing activities and presence online, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist.

About the role

Diversity is the main takeaway here! Every day is completely different. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Initiate, define and organize marketing campaigns which we align with our Sales managers and management.
  • Social media marketing including advertising campaigns. And with your help expanding our channels.
  • Content marketing (writing and promoting blog posts, case studies, etc.)
  • Managing and updating our website
  • Event management
    • Main contact for the organizer and sales managers
    • Prepare LinkedIn posts to promote our presence at events
    • Prepare logistics and designs for exhibition booths
    • Submit abstracts to possibly speak at conferences
    • Order giveaways
    • Brief sales managers about the events
  • Managing our marketing automation tool Sugar Market
  • Ordering supplies on demand (brochures, business cards, etc.)
  • Joining our weekly Marketing team meeting with updates and alignment on the ongoing activities.

Your profile

A go-getter with a make it happen-mentality!

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of Marketing/Communication
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Available for at least 32 hours a week.
  • Hands-on experience in executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Managing multiple tasks at once doesn’t scare you.
  • Initiative taker, strong planner and structured worker.
  • Drive to come up with new ideas and improve our presence in the market
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe programs like InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
