Technical Emission Expert (Intero - The Sniffers)

The Role

Oil- and gas companies and the Chemical Industry worldwide are required to better monitor their energy losses and to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions (with a strong emphasis on Methane).

In this role, you ensure excellence in execution and delivery of technical and innovative emission measurement and reporting worldwide.

This includes leading pilot projects, onsite coordination, executing emission measurements and technical reporting, preparing and organizing technical training, and providing technical sales support.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Act as Project Leader for consultancy and advisory projects related to GHG emission monitoring and abatement, ensuring superior and efficient execution both off and on site.
• Be responsible for the preparation and execution of technical reporting, including data acquisition, analysis and presenting reports to customers.
• Develop and deliver technical training materials and sessions, particularly for OGMP 2.0 standards, and create instructions/procedures for new services.
• Collaborate with the Innovation Lead to discuss new ideas and solutions, support technical sales, and provide input for IT development software (such as or own SAAS Sfemp/Mobile and others).
• Lead consultancy projects, notably for the OGMP Gold Standard and related, and offer expert technical support during seminars and customer interactions.

Education and Experience

• Master's Degree (Chemistry, Environmental/Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, ...)
• Preferably a few years experience as a project engineer or similar
• Proficient level in common ICT applications
• Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
• Willingness to travel for onsite project execution and customer meetings.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including industrial sites.

Required Experience and Skills

• Advanced knowledge in emission measurement technologies, data analysis, reporting, and environmental standards.
• Knowledge and experience with OGMP and similar frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in leading projects, coordinating onsite activities, and conducting technical training.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to customers and team members.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on developing new solutions and services.
• Technical or scientific education, preferably with a specialization in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
