Intero Integrity is a fast-growing, global company combining high-tech inspection technology, industrial and environmental services, and smart data solutions. Using our own developed equipment, we inspect pipelines, heaters, and storage tanks for clients worldwide, both onshore and offshore. This helps the energy industry use natural resources safely, efficiently, and responsibly.
Our Shanghai office is a small and dynamic team consisting of a Country Manager (also Sales Manager), two Inspection Engineers, and an open position for an Office Assistant. As a Trainee, you will be part of this close-knit team, working independently while being trained through our international Next Gen Program.
About the Next Gen Program
In 2 years, we will train you to become a fully qualified Inspection Engineer. You will start in Shanghai while also joining training sessions at our headquarters in Tricht, the Netherlands. From day one, you’ll participate in international projects under the guidance of experienced engineers, trainers, and a dedicated buddy. You will follow both technical and personal development training, including:
- ILI 1 & IGI 1
- Data analysis
- Soft skills training
- Safety training
- Certifications (such as offshore and forklift)
You will learn to operate our unique high-tech inspection tools, such as the Tank UT Explorer Robot.
Your workweek
- On site (approx. 20 weeks per year worldwide)
Travel to client sites across Asia, Europe, and beyond to perform inspections with our high-tech tools. You’ll translate data into initial recommendations and discuss results with the client team. - At the office (Shanghai)
Prepare inspection tools and support the local team. Thanks to the small office setup, you’ll quickly gain responsibility and independence.
Who we are looking for
- Technical degree (bachelor, associate degree, or equivalent) – graduates welcome
- Interest in high-tech equipment, data, and robotics
- Adventurous mindset and willingness to travel internationally
- Proactive, stress-resistant, and flexible
- Excellent command of English (must); Chinese or other languages are a plus
- Safety and quality conscious, physically able to work in challenging locations
